Howard Johnson Pilar Resort Spa & Convention Center, Pilar (Buenos Aires)

I had a great getaway at this hotel, enjoying a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of amenities. The staff was very helpful, and I loved the rich international breakfast each morning. However, the dining experience could have been elevated, and the location is a bit isolated, requiring a short cab ride for restaurants and shopping.

I had a pretty nice experience overall. The hotel staff was generally helpful, especially Santiago at the front desk, who stood out as extremely accommodating. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, as the rooms and service felt pretty average, and the dining options were hit or miss. It’s not the luxurious stay I was hoping for, but given the price, it was decent enough.

During my three-night stay, I felt the hotel lacked atmosphere and the overall experience was pretty average. The room amenities and service were just okay, though there was one standout staff member who was very helpful. The pool area was lovely, but the location didn't offer much nearby, requiring a quick cab ride to get to shopping and dining. We ended up here unexpectedly, which may have affected my expectations.
